Quiet day on PokerStars nosebleed tables

Yesterday was the quietest day on PokerStars high stakes tables this week. In fact, there were only two short sessions at the $100/$200 PLO tables and those were heads-up matches between Radi "refealamit" Amit and "RaiseOnce" (rumored to be Phil Ivey) and between "Fake Love 888" and Ilari Sahamies.

The biggest pot of the day was a pot when RaiseOnce got his money in with nuts for a $49k pot. The biggest winner, however, ended up being Rui "PepperonifF" Cao (picture) who won $108k playing at the $25/$50 and $50/$100 PLO tables.

Now, let's hope that the weekend brings some good high stakes action. The highlight of the weekend will defiantly be the SuperStar Showdown between Viktor "Isildur1" Blom and Isaac Haxton on Sunday. Both players will sit down at 4 $100/$200 NLH tables with $300,000 each. Haxton won the last SuperStar Showdown against Isiludr1, so we can expect the young Swede to be hungry for revenge. The match kicks off at 12:00 ET. Don't miss out!

This high stakes action tends to be higher during weekends than on week days. I don’t know if there were any big tourneys yesterday where these players could be concentrating their attention, or maybe there weren’t any hands opening the way to bring more pressure to the tables.

Yeah, that day was indeed pretty qiuet but yesterday there was some huge pots at PLO since Ilari FIN and RaiseOnce played some hands at 200/400.

There were some over 100k pots. Now tosay we'll have the 300k battler between Viktor and Isaac so that should be fun Big Smile
