2012 SCOOP #6-High: "ElkY" and "KidPoker" made it to the final table!

In ended up being a very exciting final table in the Spring Championship of Online Poker #6-High ($1,050 NL Draw) event as both Daniel "KidPoker" Negreanu and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier were on it.

Both of them did extremely well on the final. ElkY, however, was sent packing in 3rd place for $11,530,00, which left Daniel Negreanu playing heads-up against Argentian pro Roberto "Maestro Shao" Greco.

Negreanu, who has reached several final tables both online and live this year but failed to win, didn't win this time either and instead it was Roberto Greco who laid hands on the title and the first prize of $22,890. Negreanu received $15,330 for his efforts.

It’s the second time in one week we heard about Daniel placing second in a tourney. Maybe we should invite him to register to BRM so he can play the next BRM HU Championship with us to try to improve his skills when playing one on one!

hahaha fakiry.
it does seem that his heads up play needs some work. dont forget his disappointing performance in his fixed limit heads up match.
he sure could a thing or two playing in our lil tourny. hehe Big Smile

Negreanu has never been great heads up, no shock he has been beat HU.

But luck always plays a large factor - I think his HU challenge that he lost $75k at is to address his weakness.

Can't believe Elky won 11 million for third - really strange prize tier.

Interesting to see that these two players did so good on this scoop event considering that the game played was not their A game...

But again this show why they are pro poker players and basically master the majority of games Smile
