PokerStars 2012 SCOOP: $30 million guaranteed across 40 events!

The 2012 Spring Championship of Online Poker kicked off yesterday and will run until May 20th, with $30,000,000 guaranteed across 40 events! Each tournament has a low, medium and high buy-in, which makes it the ultimate tournament series for every type of player. The main event will be played on the very last day and not less than $5,000,000 is guaranteed by PokerStars!

awsome - might be able to take part in a minor event - im guesing fields are what 8k +????? (for small buy-in tournies)

That is a lot of money in the SCOOP events, this year I won't be able to play the events, because I must do some grinding on the cash tables to build up my bankroll.

This is great action at the hand of almost every players in PokerStars, and this is the way they want it to be. Everyone can have access to this, with bigger or lower buy-in, still entering in the race for the top prizes. There are some stars playing in this and we can have the luck/bad luck of finding them in our tables, but sure must be exciting to fight for so good prizes. GL everyone!

what i like most about this series is that there is lots of tournaments for guys who are bored/dislike/ or just want to try out other forms of poker- tournament structures are slower that usual, great guarantees, lots of players- what i hoped for is not the reload bonus stars had offered for scoop- but a ticket to some low buy in event for a deposit
