A new season of PokerStars European Poker Tour is luring around the corner. The ninth season features eight stops on the calendar, including PokerStars Caribbean Adventure from January 6-15 and the EPT Grand final in Monaco in May. There will be more tournaments at each event, with a wider choice of games and buy-in levels than ever before.

It all will begin with the Festival of Poker in Barcelona from August 15-25. There will be a wide range of buy-ins for all types of bankrolls. For example: there will be a NLHE Event for as little as €150+€15 and a €48,500+€1,500 buy-in Super High Roller tournament with unlimited reloads. The High Roller will be televised and will defiantly attract some well-known faces.

wonder how many seasons they will have in total before they shut down? if they ever going to shut down? looking at the numbers- every season generates more and more action and the player pools are just getting bigger (or it seems so) therefore the series look very healthy economically at least for now

The EPT seems to be a successful venture for sure - Europe's biggest events so I can't see it going under any time soon, rather the opposite pochui.

Thats sweet theres low buyins too for 150euro.

I don’t think this will pass in Vilamoura or Espinho (Portuguese casinos) but portuguese players who want to be in this action can’t complain much, after all Barcelona is just around the corner, at a 1h30 flight distance. Still, it’s so boring that i will have to wait two or three years to watch this action on my TV. Even having what i think it’s good poker tv channels, they only pass antiques, maybe it’s because of the tv rights, not sponsoring, not having access…

I'd love to attempt the 150 euro buyin if it were coming close or I should say I was coming close to the tour anywhere. It'd be nice to sit in just to say I participated. You never know when it's your day on the tables since I don't feel as I'm a donk or fish, but who's to say other then myself.

yeah the 150euro bi is good....this is like following the WSOP making more events and the players are increasing so EPT has been a success...pokerstars marketing has done very well in this tournaments....

I really wait the high roller event from the Carraibe, that has always been one of the highlights of the EPT in general...

Last year Viktor BLom took one million dollars hoe after he took the first place, i wonder if he will also take part now Smile
