Mizrachi rarely plays in EPT events, and has never cashed, but he’s well on his way to a deep run in the capital city of Germany. The Grinder won a large three-way all-in pot after the dinner break, eliminating two opponents. After a series of bets and raises, the three-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner and two-time Poker Players Championship winner had two players at risk holding pocket aces. One opponent held two kings, the other two tens, and neither could make a set, straight or flush, and Mizrachi rocketed up the charts to 125,000 in chips. Despite doubling Nicolas Chouity in the second-to-last hand of the night, Mizrachi bagged more chips than any of his opponents.

how surprising to see pockets aces held against pockets kings and tens...usually when in similar hand at stars i see the smallest pair win Tongue
grinder is grinding again- this dude knows how get deep into tourneys, rumor has it, he's been a brm forum member some time ago, only after some tips from forum regs he started raking in the performances...

The Grand Hyatt Berlin was packed on Monday for Day 1b of the EPT Berlin Main Event, and the late registration tables were tucked away in a small corner outside of the main tournament room. Although only a small percentage of the players were sequestered in this area, many of the game's top players arrived after the noon start, and were forced to battle it out against one another. Look left, and you'd see Team PokerStars Pro's Vanessa Selbst and Eugene Katchalov. Look right, and you'd spot Toby Lewis, Chris Brammer, and Griffin Benger. The number of top-level professionals was astounding.

Wonder if anyone knows of any pro's who have been active on BRM once upon a time?

Mizrachi is doing nice, but there are still some dangerous sharks on his way. Maybe he gets lucky enough to only catch the “worst” ones at the final table. The top five shows there are still lots of things to define among them, I wouldn’t take a risk of beting in any of them at this point.

I like watching that Mizrachi guy play. I've seen quite a bit of him on televised poker tournaments.

He reminds me of a New York or New Jersey gangster...lol...

...and ya.....you wonder where a lot of these guys get their starts....grinding away at the freerolls...?

Keep an eye on jovicakralj....he just might migrate from BrM on up to the big time...!

Don't forget about us...! Big Smile

Giuseppe Pantaleo made a flush in a hand against Age Spets but it wasn't good enough and he busted.

The German was in early position and moved all in for his last 33,500. The action folded around to Spets in the big blind and he procrastinated over his decision. Pantaleo offered to help him make up his mind but the dealer stopped Spets revealing his hand. Spets made up his own mind to call.

Pantaleo: Q♥T♥
Spets: J♣7♥

The dealer quickly dealt a 2♥2♣A♥2♦J♥. The board came so quickly that the dealer and some players saw Pantaleo's flush before Spet's full house.

Wow can you believe it pocket Aces actual held up against two other pocket pairs.
Oh wait it was in a live venue and not online.
