On Friday, the final table of the 2013 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event (375 entries) concluded with Adrian Mateos, who brought the biggest pile of chips to the final table, as the champion after an almost 5-hour-long heads-up match against Fabrice Soulier of France.

The 19-year-old Spaniard became the second youngest winner of a WSOPE Main Event in history (On September 17, 2007 Obrestad won the inaugural World Series of Poker Europe Main Event the day before her 19th birthday), and he received an incredible €1 million first place prize along with the coveted gold bracelet!

Here are the final table results:
1 Adrian Mateos Spain €1,000,000

3 Dominik Nitsche Germany €400,000
4 Jerome Huge France €251,000

Congratulations man, I think he is the second spanish person to win a bracelet or something , but wow so sick at this age, he is 19th and is millionaire thanks to poker.

Just to tell you if you work hard you will reach the stars, anyway my personal favorite Dominik Nitsche did not win, glad he was in the top 3 though. Cheers keep the news coming!

^ Agreed amazin.

the thing is often when you do so well so young the only way is down.

But when you see so many randoms winning big big events it makes you appreciate the skill and ability of the pros that have won bracelets time and time again...the variance is just sick as hell but they manage it all the same.

Congratulations to Adrian, how cool that the first prize is exactly one mil, not a penny more or less lol

I wonder if in that picture is really one mil, it does not look that much considering there are many 1000 euro bills there.
