Day 5 of the World Poker Tour LA Poker Classic saw 18 players return to play. Toby Lewis (2010 EPT Vilamoura Main Event Champion) was the chip leader with 1.8 million and his closets opponents were Paul Klann (1,581,000) and Paul "Paulgees81" Volpe (1,581,000).
All three players mentioned above made it through the day and are among the 6 finalists that will battle for a $1 million first place prize tonight. Volpe (picture), a well-known American online pro, will bring the largest stack (4,195,000) and Klann is ranked second with 3,375,000. Toby Lewis (ranked 6th with 1,125,000) has about half of the average stack (2,585,000) but has his final table-experience to his advantage. If Lewis wins the tournament, he "only" needs a WSOP title this summer to complete poker's triple crown.
