There is now only 1 heat left to be played in Group B as Talal Shakerchi, a hedge fund manager who won EPT London High Roller last week, defeated Tobias Reinkemeier heads-up in Heat 3 for 16 well-deserved points.

Group B Heat 3 results:
1st. Talal Shakerchi, 16 points
2nd. Tobias Reinkemeier, 11 points
3rd. Dan Shak, 8 points
4th. Tony G, 6 points
5th. Jason Mercier, 4 points
6th. Igor Kurganov, 3 points
7th. Jennifer Tilly, 2 points
8th. Phil Laak, 0 points

Shakerchi now has 26 points before the final heat today, and given that he's 10 points ahead of Jennifier Tilly and 16 ahead of Mercier and Tony G, anything but a last place finish and a win by Tilly means a final table ticket for him.

Group B overall standings after three heats:
1st. Tobias Reinkemeier, 38 points
2nd. Dan Shak, 35 points
3rd. Talal Shakerchi, 26 points
4th. Jennifer Tilly, 16 points
=5th. Jason Mercier, 10 points
=5th. Tony G, 10 points
7th. Igor Kurganov, 8 points
8th. Phil Laak, 16 points

This might be a silly question but why is Phil laak in 8th place when he has twice the points Igor does?
Tongue

I'm a bit in the dark about this so in a more serious note ( the point thing is a mistype for sure lol) anyone knows whats the prize involved in all of this? I'm sure they're not doing it just for the glory.

It is nice to see how business men like Talal Shakerchi find in poker a way to release the stress from the daily professional activity. While they rest, they keep having a chance to make some more profits, besides their regular activity. I also try to look at poker this way, although in much different values. But if i can turn $1 into $2, it will be awesome, as i will be resting while i'm doing it, keeping earning!
