Kara Scott & PartyPoker Part Ways

Popular poker player and TV-reporter Kara Scott and PartyPoker are about to split up after 5 years together. Scott commented on the "break up" in her latest blog, "PartyPoker has gone through many changes and unfortunately as their focus shifted, there were fewer and fewer TV projects. As those shows disappeared, so did one of my favourite parts of the job and now my association with Party is ending."

Scott, who has earned over $630,000 playing live tournaments, continued that she will continue playing poker although she won't be wearing the orange patch.

"Although I'm no longer wearing an orange patch, you'll still be seeing me as a sideline reporter on your TVs or sitting with a chip stack of my own in tournaments around the world. I've already booked a flight to Malta and reserved a seat at my favourite reggae bar there, just in time for the big poker festival in March."

Yeah, Party keep changing every year, I am not really sure they going to remain in the pokerbusiness for another couple years - as I have no real info about this - but I guess their casino, sportsbet, horserace or whatnot... side gambling intake is the main thing for now and that is which moving their ship around.
As for Ms. Scott good luck to the rest of her carrier, tv poker was always boring as hell to me.

We use to see Kara Scott all the time on TV before she joined Party Poker and to be honest I can't remember seeing her on much TV at all recently. She was on the Sharkcage program recently but I am sure that was a pokerstars event.
I quite like her when she's on TV and it's good that she actually knows something about poker, unlike some of the other "female poker personalities".

Kara looked breathtakingly gorgeous in a chic dress on (during) this year's WSOP main event final table live coverage, not to mention that she is a classy, intelligent woman whose future success is almost guaranteed.

cara oh cara flashing naked is the best.

I don't know how to react to this separation between Kara and PP, but at least we can feel safe to know that she will keep booking her presence in some events, as a reporter or as a player. It's good to know this pretty face will continue to be part of this world. As for the reasons she had to leave PP (or for PP to "leave" her) i guess we can only speculate. But i think those who play there shouldn't feel this news as something negative.
