Only 19 of 258 players remain after two days of play at the World Poker Tour Jacksonville bestbet Open Main Event. Jared Jaffee, who won the most recent WPT event at bestbet Jacksonville, is the chip leader heading to Day 3 (begins in approximately 5 hours) with 776,000 in chips!

Can he make it two in row? It's not impossible, but there are still many hours of poker to be played and several big names are still in the competition, including Season VII WPT Player of the Year Faraz Jaka, 2010 WSOP Main Event runner-up John Racener and Poker Triple Crown winner Jason Mercier.

The remaining players are guaranteed at least $8.5k with the chance of laying hands on the first place prize of $206,041! Below is the official chip counts and seating assignments for Day 3.

Confidence is for sure one of the most important feelings a player must have when he's playing, and having such a big victory as background gives a lot of confidence to Jared Jaffee battle against everyone who comes ahead, even the most known names. It's not all, but it will help him.

Jason Mercier for the win going to support him on this tournament hope he wins it, he is a good player and the only well known player on that table so well known players should win as it has been a while since some good players won. Read it as well known! Anyway hope this tournament is fun and I can enjoy some good poker after work! Cheers keep us updated!

Fakiry nailed this - this guy must be teeming with confidence, balls the size of King Kong. So many times players win a tourney and then for a few months or even a year they just get at it and nail tournaments. Reads are good, judgement refined and there's no playing scared cos they have money behind them.

This would be some achievement if he won back to back titles. I cant comprehend the odds of him doing this as they must be in the thousands to one. Good luck to him and i hope he can do it
