$10m Guarantee Main Event Returns in August...

Blair HinkleIn 2013, the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (played in Florida) $5,300 buy-in Main Event drew a massive 2,384 entries thanks to a successful multi-day re-entry format, plus, of course, a $10,000,000 guarantee!

At the end of it all, Blair Hinkle, a 27-year-old pro from Kansas City, Missouri, emerged victorious (Defeated Justin Bonomo heads-up) to lay hands on $1.7m in prize money from the total prize pool of $11.9m!

The popular tournament series will be back this year on August 14 with 23 exciting events, including the $10 million guarantee main event! Also, the Hard Rock Poker Open will feature the award of the 2014 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the year. The award is based on players performances during four tournament series held at the casino. The winner will take home $30k worth of tournament buy-ins, along with other VIP casino benefits.

Wow huge prize , though it still cannot beats the one big drop tournament that just happened in terms of prize going to the winner. Anyway would be a fun tournament to watch though it still has several months to go before it begins so good luck many thing might change prior to start of tournament. Cheers will e watching it!!

This tournament is for "normal" people as well.

now thats a nice tourney Tongue just compare this one vs 1m guaratneed 50k BI tourneys and other sht like that... and erm it doesnt have to 'beat' one drop, for one drop BI u can play this tourney x20, its not even a contest really Smile

These poker tournaments seem to be getting more and more lucrative and they are disproving the myth that the poker scene is dying out.Good luck to all those lucky enough to play in it

Considering the buy in is arounf 5000 dollars the first prize is absolutely huge (almost two million dollars) Smile

the thing with this $10m Guarantee Main Event is that it returns in August... now it would be a totally different proposal if $10m Guarantee Main Event would return in September or October, actually it would be even a totally different proposal if $10m Guarantee Main Event would return in December, but no it has to return in August Aww crap!

Unfortunately I don´t care whether the main event returns in August or in September.

Because I won´t be participating... Big Smile Big Smile 5k buy in isn´t really anything for me. Big Smile Big Smile
