Sam Trickett Crashes His Ferrari F458

Sam Trickett, the leading tournament earner in Europe, crashed with his Ferrari F458 Spider on Sunday. Luckily, the Brit wasn't hurt in the accident. In fact, he took a picture of the car, which costs approx. £275,000, and uploaded it on twitter saying "Nooooooo! Gutted!"

He bought the car in 2012 following his second place finish in Big One for One Drop for $10 million and tweeted a picture of the car in the showroom with the text "Just made the worst Financial decision of my life.But I can't stop smiling Smile"

It will be intersting to see how much it will cost him to fix the car. Trickett has over $20 million in tournament earnings, so money is definitely not an issue.

I am very glad that Sam Trickett walked away from this accident unhurt because he is definitely one of my favourite poker players. Hope he can fix the car but i think he can afford a new one if he cant!

let's be honest if we had his money we'd all buy an expensive car,would we not ?
Anyway i'm sure it can be fixed and the important thing is he's alright.

Not too much damage to the car by the looks of the picture but I'm sure the repair bill from Ferrari will probably cost more than my car cost to buy.At least no harm came to Trickett.

Win 10 million in tournament and I could smile at something. he was lucky and only lost money. repair the car or buy a new one. I would do it Smile

He should buy now La ferrari and crash him xD Important thing is that he is alive and well... car/money isnt his problem, because he can aford evry car he want.... As I said it would be nice for him to buy La ferrari that is best car from ferrari...

Why don't i own a ferrari that i could crash and have it make the headline, the damn car is more popular to me nowadays lol, anyway have fun, he will just buy another car and then he is back on the street and can brag about it. What a life though , you have a good car and a cool life.

Anyway love speed too so one day i will own a ferrari too and i will have fun with it and hopefully i will make the news for some good things rather than a car crash lol. Cheers mate!

luckily no one got hurt and no one saw that pochui had a kilo of weed with him...

For me is like Karma, soon or later happens, just read this part:

He said this after buy the car, and months later get this. Big Smile Big Smile

But what is important is that is alived and good of health, and maybe with luck, buy another fast, expensive car, he have the money, so dont cry for him. Cool

In my world of curiosity, it would be wonderful to know the full details of how he crashed his lovely super car. Also, how didn't end up in the off road position that it did, with lights on and air bag activated? All the mysteries to be discovered as time goes by no doubt!

we should be asking ourselves what we can learn from Trickett to improve our own chances of being able to afford such a car, rather than rejoicing when he wrecks it.poker players are reckless with money. Go into any casino and you will see it for yourself. Everyone walks around with bundles of cash, passing it around to each other, staking people we don’t know all that well

If I could afford a Ferrari I definitely wouldn't buy one, since it's eating cash like a shark. A damn oilchange is a pain in the a$$ with them not mentioning the rest.

Totaly agree... I would never own a ferrari... maybe if I am bilionair, I rather chose benz instead...
