Launching soon, Sam will host monthly, invite only, high stakes ‘Trickett's Cash Games' on partypoker. Players will have the opportunity to win a seat at Trickett's tables through the site and players not playing in the cash game will also have the chance to rail and see the action unfold.

Group Head of partypoker Tom Waters said: "It is testament to the recent success of partypoker that such a renowned player like Sam was eager to join the team. Sam will be a great addition to partypoker, hosting new and exciting high stakes cash games on the site, that I'm sure will make great viewing for the players."

partypoker Ambassador Sam Trickett said: "I am proud to be joining the expanding partypoker team and represent the brand globally. partypoker was always my first site and I am excited about the direction the company is taking, with the players and a fun feel at the forefront of their minds. I am going to bring monthly high stakes games online, which my friends and partypoker players can enjoy. Over the coming weeks I will plan my live events schedule for 2017 and look forward to getting back on the tournament circuit, wearing the partypoker patch."

What a fantastic job for Sam Trickett and i am sure he will be an asset to Party Poker. It would be nice to just watch him play some high stakes poker because, i think, he is ne of the best in the world at it

i guess that's great... for some players or future players... for me personally- i don't give a sh1t who is signed with the site or not, just give me some free money to splash around and i'm good with that. oh and i have to admit that 20 millions total winnings in live poker sounds better than having a 20" salami.

Good for Sam Trickett and party poker, he's from the United Kingdom as well. He's a well spoken very intelligent and good poker player so he's probably going to be a good ambassador for party poker.

His huge cash in the first One Drop 1 million buy-in tournament made his name but he was still a solid player before that. Now that his buy ins are paid by a poker site he will be even more dangerous Blink lol

PP and so very popular room to attract well-known poker players for advertising ... it seems to me that it will not give the desired effect for PP ... although it may be that I do not understand something in the marketing and advertising of poker rooms

I think it is about time that Mr Tricket got a deal with a big site like this. It will be interesting to see what promotions including Sam follow cos I am sure the will be loads of interest, especially from The United Kingdom. Looking forward to see what follows in this big signing and how we can make something from it.

now on the other hand i do wonder if there actually is any point in signing those so called poker pros, if we have a choice between playing in a poker room that has 5 or 89 poker pros under their name or a site that gives you ndb of $20 and regular reload bonuses plus some great promos... then i know where i'm heading.

Big congratulations to Sam Cricket, oops, I mean Sam Trickett (I get his name wrong too often!) on being appointed the PartyPoker ambassador! He definitely will be a valuable asset to the PartyPoker.

I like when they say they are proud Smile They are glad that just got some extra money
and promotion from the whole deal, but proud/ Smile
Its a poker site not a country to be an ambassador of.
But of course to say what is fair, you need to have proven yourself to get such a position.

Dunno. Signing more and more pros could be a clear sign that your marketing department is out of ideas and promotional material.
