WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown: Several Big Names Among Final 92 Players

Faraz JakaThe World Poker Tour Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Main Event is currently underway. In total, a field of 1,476 entries has been narrowed down to 92 players (everyone is guaranteed at least $8,000 each from now on) over two days of intensive play. Ray Vohra will lead the remaining pack into Day 3 with 1,675,000.

Vohra is followed by Brian Green (1,400,000), Robert Campbell (1,344,000), John Thrower (1,258,000), Jan Ziegler (1,104,000), Andre Crooks (1,083,000), Shankar Pillai (1,009,000), Scott Zakheim (948,000), and Champions Club member Mohsin Charania (860,000).

Besides Charania,  there are several big names still alive and kicking including Champions Club member Jared Jaffee (787,000), WPT Commentator Vince Van Patten (608,000), Champions Club member Andy Hwang (569,000), Faraz Jaka (431,000), Brian Hastings (409,000), Champions Club member Noah Schwartz (135,000).

The plan for Day 3 is to play down to the final 18 players. The last man standing at the end of it all will take home a whopping $1,000,000! Check back tomorrow for another brief update.

There is definitely some big names still left in the tournament,Mohsin Charania was a player I use to see alot of a while back.I don't think I have seen Vince Van Patten play but I am sure he has some good notes on his opponents and Faraz Jaka is always a dangerous opponent and maybe has not won as often as he could have done.

I don't have a single clue about what really is the Champions Club but seems to me it had an awful lot of members represented in this tournament.
Sounds like an expensive BDSM club to me. Will see... Big Smile
