The premier of this online-live event drew 905 entries who created a $859,750 prize pool. The initial 905 participants played down to a final table of six players online on July 2. The final day took place two days later at the Rio in Las Vegas (live poker).
The final table only took three hours to complete with Anthony Spinella being crowned the winner after dominating the final stages of the tournament. Spinella, who has won $4.6 million playing online poker, took home his first gold bracelet and $197,743 in prize money.
"It feels good to win this," Spinella said of the gold bracelet victory. "I've been playing for a long time now and always want to win one, so this really feels great."
