The Season XV WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star $7,500 Main Event drew a record field of 806 players, beating the old record of 753 entries set in the previous season. The final table was played on Saturday and included some famililar poker pros, including Chino Rheem who had the chance to win a forth World Poker Tour title!
The premier of this online-live event drew 905 entries who created a $859,750 prize pool. The initial 905 participants played down to a final table of six players online on July 2. The final day took place two days later at the Rio in Las Vegas (live poker).
Anthony "holdplz" Spinella, an American poker pro with almost $2.5 million in online and live winnings, has got himself into some serious trouble.
