Daniel Negreanu tragically lost his best friend 'Mushu' last Friday while playing Day 2 of the PokerStars Championship Bahamas $25,000 High Roller.

Negreanu, who is 1st on the All Time Money List with $32 million in tournament earnings, shared the sad news on Twitter and received a lot of answers from his followers and fellow pros who wished to express their condolences.

Despite losing his long-time friend, Negreanu managed to make it to the final table of the $25k High Roller for a $268,780 payday (Luc Greenwood, Canada, won the tournament and received $779,268 in prize money). But all the money in the world won't bring back his Mushu.

This is an extremely sad story and i know how Daniel is feeling. We lost our dog many years ago and it hit the whole family really hard and it took us a long while to get over it.
