partypoker: Niall Farrell Leads £10,300 High Roller in Nottingham

The partypokerLIVE Nottingham £10,300 High Roller saw 92 entries (8 re-entries) battle it out during 6 hours of play on Monday. 56 player survived the first day of play and they will return at 1:00 PM local time today.

Scotland's Niall Farrell, winner of the partypoker WPT Caribbean Punta Cana in 2016, has the lead with 433k chips and not far behind in second place is German poker star Dominik Nitsche with 391k. Farrell and Nitsche will be joined at the tables today by, for example, partypoker ambassadors Joao Simao (224,400), Sam Trickett (200,000) and Roberto Romanello (119,700).

The tournament currently has a small overlay as 100 players are required to cover the guarantee of £1,000,000. Late registration will remain open for two 45-minutes levels on Day 2, so we will know the total prize pool later on today!

well what can i say- go niall farrell go, whoever you are, yo got pochui's approval for endless chips collections throughout the tournament. gosh these dude have no brianz and imagination, spending 10K for a tournament buyin, as if there is no vodka and gorgeous babes in the world available to be consumed for such amounts of moola.

Niall Farrell is certainly a very good player and he justifies his status playing very well and being a chip leader ... maybe he will be able to keep good pace and quality of the game and he will win this tournament ... I will follow this tournament Cool

They still havent managed to cover the prize money Smile and they are extending the late registration
for day two.
Eight more players to catch there, so it may end up in a fail getting the rest to join.
But at least the lost wont be that big.

Please somebody tell me how da hell a ten thousand pound tourney is a high roller when the WSOP main game has a 10k buy-in as well yet nobody calls it a high roller world championship, innit?

There are still some very top players left in this tournament and it is going to be fascinating to see how it all plays out and who eventually wins the first prize and the title

Someone obviously won it at the end if I could take and educated guess or whatnot. Not sure, but I have heard before that these kinda tournies usually ending that way...
