The 2017 partypoker Millions Nottingham High Roller attracted 110 entries, which generated a prize pool of £1,067,000 for the top 11 finishers. The first day of play lasted for only 6 hours while the second day continued for more than 15 hours!

The fact is that Day 2 was so long and exhausting that the last remaining 4 players called it a day at 4.15 on Wednesday morning. Czech Republic poker pro Vojtech Ruzicka bagged up the chip lead.

Ruzicka, who finished 5th in the 2016 WSOP Main Event, will bring 4.1 million in chips (52 big blinds) to the final day of play and he will need to overcome Bartlomiej Machon (3 million), Tom Hall (1.9 million) and Chris Backhouse (1.7 million) if he wants to take home the £320,000 first-place prize!

As you can see below, Day 1 chip leaders Niall Farrell and Dominik Nitsche both missed out on a payday...

Results and remaining prize pool:

1.      £320,000
2.      £185,000
3.      £142,000
4.      £110,000
5. Joao Simao £85,000
6. Jason Wheeler £65,000
7. Laszlo Bujtas £50,000
8. Stefan Schillhabel £40,000
9. Daniel Merrilees £30,000
10. Oliver Waters £20,000
11. Govert Metaal £20,000

well everyone still has 20+ big blinds so it's quite a decent situation for the dudes remaining and the leader only has just 2x as many chips as the dude in last (4th) place. everything to play for, wouldn't mind swapping my place at the laptop with any of the 4 places at the final table... heck even a place under the table... someone might drop a chip or two...

The first day of the game is only six hours, and the second day is already fifteen hours ?? ... everything is just like in tournaments ... at the beginning of the game many players take the risk to either increase their bank or finish the tournament and do something else .... And then a serious game

These guys are really battling hard for this first prize and the title. To play for 15 hours and only lose a few players is testament to just how good these players are. I look forward to finding out who wins

Yes very hadr tournament day numberntwo, to play for 15 hours is a lot of poker and you need to be good all day because a small mistake can mean you are out if the tournament. I think you need to find something to do at then table when you not olay a hand, just to watch others is boring
