Doug "WCGRider" Polk Wins Big on partypoker!

partypoker's POWERFEST concluded last night after 2 weeks with over 300 events and $20,000,000 in guaranteed prize pools. The final night had some big buy-in tournaments, one of which was won by American poker pro Doug "WCGRider" Polk!

The $5,200 High Roller event saw 274 entrants to boost the orginal $1 million guarantee with $424k extra! Polk streamed the action live on youtube with some short delay and around 10,000 viewers got to see him take down the tournament for $271,272!

According to High Stakes DB, this was the fourth time that Polk scored a 6-figure payday while letting people watch his game live on youtube and twitch! His biggest score while streaming came in 2016 when he chopped a WCOOP High Roller for a $455,000 payday.

well what can i say... massive congratulation for Doug "WCGRider" Polk, an American poker pro who i have never heard before, it looks like there is a trend nowadays if you play poker and have won sth you immediately become a pro, not even taking into account how much are you losing...

he is one of the best NLHE players... he was best NL HU player... i watched stream, and hope he will do well in that 300k$ buy in tournie

hes mostly famous for being vanessa selbsts twin and one of the leading streamers/original poker content stuff. basically in the poker world hes big on youtube

Nice winning in the last big event of the Powerfest seriest! The High Roller event with so many entrants of 274 entrants wa famous for a big prize pool and it was strong to pay a buyin over 5000 $. To qualify for one of this big events was a dream for every poker player.

Many congratulations to Doug Polk on winning this tournament and the first prize of $271,272. I often watch his You Tube channel, and i find it very entertaining, so its nice to see him win

Lucky all the ones that got to play on this one, that had qualified with satellites and won some
money at the end.
I didnt know there was a coverage of it, on youtube.
I would have watched it at some point.

That was pretty kind from him to let people watch his game live as mentioned in the article and what about the runner up, it seems to be a nickname for a girl so anyone have any info about???

Wonder if anyone so far streaming their live play has made a mistake,
not setting a delay on it. Can be very costly mistake Smile
Unless there is a setup with prefixed standard delay by the sites, like twitch and youtube.
