I'm having some fun at this room, some friends don't even knew it was possible to play there in my country. But after reading so much about this subject, i still didn't get very well the true global importance of criptcoins, perhaps because i don't find it's use on low budget mass online stores. As long as this brings more fish to my net, it's always great news.

wow kinda hard time even picking what cryptocurrency to pick for your next deposit... and when you just about decided to use one over other you see that all of the sudden you deposit has halved just because... hard time with all of those crypto options...

Gerimantas | 20/09/2017 20:17:47 GMT |
I personally didn't know that there is so many cruptocurrencirs to pick from, and i don't know why to have so much options just to make a deposit. Even bitcoin looks strange to me, and now 60 other options? Not even thinking about making deposits in such cryptocurrencies.

The number of different coins is approaching 1000. And as long as the new releases are traded on exchanges, those numbers will only grow ever more. If this is a healthy situation is another question.

So the normal currencies werent good enough, and now they are adding all these? Like bitcoin isnt enough for a gambling site.
What i like here is this. Many sites are imposing measures questioning where your USD or euro deposit came from, trying to prevent as they claim money laundering etc. What now with all the cryptocoins They will be ok with it?

Pick the ones which you won't be sorry for when lost. Having to deal with this many crypto will certainly gain some interest from hackers as well. If they could hack into multiple crypto wallets (as they did in the past) they could handle a poker room as well.

honestly.. money laundry! is the first thing that came in my mind. you may lose a bit in poker but at end the money is clean. just like the mafia does with sportsbets. betting on same game with good odds (one on win, one on lose), you lose some money but you get clean money.

This will not stop until every person on the planet has its own cryptocurrency

It's good news to me. I have not been playing on Americas Card Room for a long time due to their limited deposit and withdrawal options. Hopefully, one or more of my cryptocurrency accounts will soon become usable on ACR.
|
Mober | 21/09/2017 21:15:19 GMT |
That is what im thinking about. That they will turn a blind eye, when it comes to crypto coins and start accepting deposits no matter what. Can they prove (sites) if someone is laundering money with crypto coins? I dont think so.
|
shokaku | 22/09/2017 04:41:33 GMT |
Of cause they can not prove it. But if a poker room / online casino gets a deposit via credit card or e-wallet instead of some crypto coins, it can't prove that either. Actually no normal business could do this.

It is definitely a very good decision for Americas Cardroom but it will not take too long so the other poker rooms will imitate them. So it has been going on for years in online poker. How someone appears with a new game, offer, or promotion the others copy it.

You only have to look at Mobers post to see, that cryptos are viewed as shady stuff. So i doubt that the bigger rooms like Stars, bwin.party and 8-8-8 will introduce that in the near future. Smaller rooms/networks, espacialy if they face towards the US, may actualy do it.

We should be healthy and we will see this. The money chase is very intense and will not get rid of anything to attract new players. Everyone wants money and probably in the future we will also see interest-bearing loans. This is possible because we are living in a world that is increasingly worse than money. The future will decide who is right.

I apologize for my clumsy sentence above. The bold italic part should have written “. . . I have not played on Americas Card Room for a long time. . .” It was an unintentional grammatical error.
------------ Oh, shoot. I did it again. Forgot to put "been."
------------ "The bold italic part should have BEEN written." Disgusted with myself.

For some time appeared more and more banks with crypto currencies. Bitcoin, Litecoin, Zcash, Ethereum, Dash etc. Digital currency catch power and bankers do not like this. The thing is that they will also work in the future with these crypto currencies because they will not have what to do. They will be forced to do this so they do not bankrupt. To fcuk with this artificial intelligence and unreal money.

pochui | 23/09/2017 14:39:32 GMT |
well I do not see this as a bad thing to be honest, the way I see this those 60 or 3000 cryptocurrencies are just another deposit options, you can use them, you can ditch them... no problems to have more choices. shady or not- totally different question.
|
shokaku | 23/09/2017 15:22:36 GMT |
Actualy, i don't even want to imagine a cashier with 60+ different deposit and withdrawal options. Far less so one with a few thousend. Players will just lose any overview completely. And for developers it would be a nightmare.
|
Mober | 23/09/2017 17:49:19 GMT |
They just put as many deposit options they can, to make it easier for you to deposit. They are after the money, and the crypto currencies move fast around, for many reasons that we all know So why not getting a piece of that pie?
|
Gerimantas | 23/09/2017 18:17:50 GMT |
I too think this situation with many depisut and withdraw options to use is good thing, maybe some players use one option, others different so with many choice every player is happy and poker site has more llahers whi are depositing money.

Currently Americas Cardroom provides games to players in 167 countries. Americas Cardroom has been the most enthusiastic supporter of crypto currencies among all US-friendly online poker rooms. Let's see if crypto currency is going to change the world, which will be most universally accepted.
|
Mober | 24/09/2017 18:24:53 GMT |
A broad spectrum of countries and currencies. It is the only way to stay in the market nowadays after all the changes, regarding gambling in many countries.
The ones for example, having problems depositing with neteller or skrill, like canadian players, now with cryptocoins will be able to overcome this, if and when happens to the rest of the sites.
|
Gerimantas | 24/09/2017 19:04:17 GMT |
Yes this is too very good for players with deposit problems like mober say, now with cryptocurrencirs are offered to them those players can say goodbye to local politicians and continue to play in their room the game they want to play. I think this is goid news to players
