The Women in Poker Hall of Fame nominations are open up until midnight PST of March 15, 2018, and you can nominate at one of the dedicated pages of The Hall's website.

The Women in Poker Hall of Fame (WiPHoF) celebrates players of the female populace who have become successful in the world of poker. Currently, nominations are being accepted for the newest class of the Hall and you can submit your nominations on or before March 15 midnight.

Ever since it was created in 2008, the WiPHoF had inducted 19 of the most influential ladies in poker, including Barbara Enright, Linda Johnson, Susie Isaacs, Jan Fisher, Jennifer Harman, Kathy Liebert, JJ Liu, and Debbie Burkhead.

Here's what it says on their website:
WiPHoF is dedicated to celebrating women who have achieved success in the poker industry. You are a part of the process in which a candidate is considered for induction to the hall. All Hall inductees must meet the criteria for selection.

It is as follows:
1. A candidate must have been active as a player or industry leader for a minimum of 10 years prior to election and 35 yrs of age or older.

2. Player/industry leader must have contributed to the world of poker in some significant way. This person can qualify by either winning major poker tournaments, or by making significant contributions to the industry of poker.

3. Player/industry leader must be a proponent of women in poker.

4. All nominees must be approved by a committee of the WiPHoF Committee and the Inductees.

5. Nominees must agree to terms & conditions of the Women in Poker Hall of Fame.

If a candidate meets the criteria, we place them on the ballot.

Voting takes place by an esteemed panel of media & industry professionals and Hall members of the Women in Poker Hall of Fame. Once finalized, the new selectees are announced to the public.

The 2018 Women in Poker Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony takes place Tuesday, June 26th, 2018 at Orlean's Casino in Las Vegas. We hope you'll join us to witness poker history!

NOMINATIONS REMAIN OPEN UNTIL MIDNIGHT PST March 15th, 2018.

It will be interesting to see who eventually makes it into the Hall Of Fame. The list of players' who have made it into there already, really are true legends and whoever goes in will be considered one

They have not chosen the names of these womens? I have no way to know these details - 10 years in the poker industry, 35 years minimum or to look for names of womens players to coincide with these details. Is total waste of time because they had to come with a list of names to be able to vote correctly.

I would like if the woman who will win will match stereotype like in some old jokes...

There was a man who had 3 girlfriends, but he did not know which one to marry. So he decided to give each 1 $5000 and see how each of them spent it.

The first 1 went out and got a total makeover with the money. She got new clothes, a new hairdo, manicure, pedicure, the works, and tells the man, "I spent the money so I could look pretty for you because I love you so much."
The 2nd one went out and bought new golf clubs, a CD player, a television, and a stereo and gave them to the man. She said, "I bought these gifts for you with the money because I love you so much." The 3rd one takes the $5000 and invests it in the stock market, doubles her investment, returns the $5000 to the man and reinvests the rest. She says, "I am investing the rest of the money for our future because I love you so much."

The man thought hard about how each of the women spent the money.
Finally, being a man he decided to marry the one with the biggest tits.

So I wonder, if the most-chested lady win Big Smile Big Smile Big Smile

there are very many worthy players - women who could enter the poker hall of fame .. I certainly now can recall these names from memory, but I meet them at different big tournaments and there they are among the leaders ... so I probably will not be able to participate

as it is for the homem, but that when it comes to having those of the darling and beautiful women, I hope that the rules for the same are at the same level as those for the men for the best representative terms in the mood

I think it is granted too easily these awards. Let's be serious about how many women with good results are in the poker world live or online. There are not many womens with good results and these prizes should not be given often. At hollywod is quite different but here...

Vanessa Selbst, who is now 33 years old, is arguably the most talented female poker player of all time. I am pretty sure that she will be inducted to the Women in Poker Hall of Fame in the next couple of years.

Well we've heard about a lot of strong female poker players over the years now. Many of them are definitely worth to be included in the Poker Hall of Fame. If i was asked, I'd vote for Vanessa Rousso and Liv Boeree.

The problem with some great players,..that they dont meet the requirments,.
Little bit off nonsense,..what iff there was a woman that won 3 times major event,..
Soo that she is not eligble,...Maybe they should change the rules a bit,.
So more woman have a change to get in hall off fame Agree

there are a few rules for women to be able to win this prize and from my point of view the rules should be stricter. It does not matter how many professional women are in online or live poker. Their careers should make them apt for title in poker hall of fame. To men the same.
