It took almost 14 hours of action before Brazilian Francisco "chiconogue" Nogueira bagged the top spot, taking home $57,826 from the XL Eclipse Main Event by 888poker.

XL Eclipse #32 - $500,000 Main Event

  • Date: September 22, 2019 (Sunday) 5pm
  • Buy-in: $250
  • Players: 1,647 and 517 re-entries
  • Prizepool: $508,540

The $250 buy-in XL Eclipse Main Event was a smashing success, with the original $500,000 guarantee attracting a total of 1,647 players and 517 re-entries that in the end generated a prize pool of $508,540. There were 207 players who were in the money for at least a minimum cash prize of $559.

Chris Moorman leads the 888poker Ambassadors

888poker ambassador Chris "888Moorman" Moorman fired a total of 4 bullets in this event and he needed 90th place or better to gain a profit. He did exactly just that, by settling at 90th place for $1,017 (just a $17 profit) when his Q-K couldn't beat the Q-Ace held by UK player "GusKi14".

Overall there were five 888poker ambassadors who joined in the event. Aside from Moorman, Sofia "sofialovgren" Lovgren, Dominik "888Dominik" Nitsche, Ana "AnaMarquez" Marquez, and 2014 WSOP Main Event Champion Martin "MJacobson888" Jacobson joined in on the fray, but were all ousted within the first blind level after late registration ended.

After a four-way deal was struck, in the end the biggest cash prize winner was Russian "si1entb0b" who settled in 3rd place for $61,622.

The final hand saw:
amaze1 held 7 and 8 of diamonds
chiconogue had 9 and J of diamonds

The board ran out 6-7-4-4-9, which gave chiconogue a better pair and made him the last man standing.

This was very nice tournament, with 1647 players and lot of re-entries and thas why they had over 500 K in prize pool!you dont see very often deal on final table with 4 players, thats why prizes are so close for this players!

It was a success but not too big. The guaranteed prize fund was with $8540 more and that's fine. I missed the opportunity to play here because i didn't have time to play satellites and another time maybe i will play. Congratulations to the winner.

Well what can we say. For that buy in the prize was great.
The hours it took also for the tournament to finish, is another thing to note.
I still wonder how they are playing so many hours and keeping it up together,
with their game. I guess it is one of the things that makes them being professionals Smile

on big tournaments and when big amounts are in game, you must play long time and you need to be prepare on this!depend all how they make blinds size,so if they give long blinds, will take long time like this, but when you have this big number of players and big prize pool, you will still need lot of time to win it!

Oh, no doubt playing cards for fourteen hours would brake my back for sure, I am not cut out for something like that.

for some reason, for some reason, I’m not at all surprised that the player from Brazil won this tournament .... The thing is that Brazilian players play quite impulsively ... and when a regular player chooses to call or skip a move, a player from Brazil usually goes usually all in .... and as a result, sometimes he wins ... Apparently this is the case when the Brazilian players were really lucky in this tournament .... But this is a special case

Brazilian players are very good at online poker games. I have seen many of them earning impressive amounts of money in Pokerstars. I respect their game which is really good and of course the Russians also have many lucky processionalists.
