partypoker is proud to announce that someone's diligent grinding has managed to hit their loyalty program's top tier the Diamond Club Elite, Giuseppe "JOJEPE" Calio, who made the $200,000 in rake in just 46 days!

About the Diamond Club Elite

Diamond Club Elite is the highest level of partypoker's VIP program. Introduced on February 1, 2019, this new exclusive VIP club is designed to reward the site's most loyal players with live event VIP packages, up to 60% cashback and more.

Any player that opts into the program and contributes at least $200,000 in rake over a twelve-month period across any poker game type will be eligible to join the exclusive club.

Full Diamond Club Elite members will earn themselves $16,000 VIP packages to the Caribbean Poker Party held annually in The Bahamas, along with entry into November's MILLIONS Online worth $10,300.
In addition, members can benefit from exclusive VIP service at partypoker LIVE events, as well as dedicated 24/7 support lines.

The "Diamond Club Elite" forms an extension of partypoker's main VIP program, "Diamond Club".

To enroll onto the original Diamond Club loyalty program and unlock up to 50% in cashback, players must commit to raking at least $100,000 over a set twelve-month period across any poker game type.

Members will benefit from their own dedicated partypoker account manager, plus the opportunity to attend hospitality sporting events.

Discovering Poker

Giuseppe "JOJEPE" Calio was born in America but has lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina since he was 13 years old.

During a football pre-season, he discovered poker and became dedicated to it.

"Before dedicating to poker, I was a footballer. Some poker games were set up in our rooms and it quickly caught my attention. I started playing tournaments, I slowly climbed stakes until I reached high stakes. Today I am dedicated to SPINS Ultras at partypoker. I'm part of a bankroll and coaching stable known as CheckCheck."

Surprisingly, Calio did not aim to hit Diamond Club Elite, it just kind of happened as he got his grind on in the SPINS Ultra tournaments. As a professional poker player, Calio knows he has to log plenty of volume to negate the variance of poker.

"I wasn't exactly focused on the Diamond Club Elite, instead I focused on playing my best poker. By dedicating myself to a game where luck dominates in the short term, I must try to minimize this factor with a large volume of studying and playing. I've been fortunate to understand very early in my career that my salary is directly related to the phrase ‘dollars per game' which basically dictates that the more I play, the more I earn. The Diamond Club Elite has been a great reward for my effort!"

Up to 12 hours daily in the SPINS Ultra games

Being able to reach Diamond Club Elite status in just 46 days is not an easy feat and it took some serious dedication for Calio. Imagine playing a minimum of 8 hours up to 10-12 hours of playing SPINS Ultras each day - that was Calio's daily norm for that time span.

"My grind days are quite intense. The alarm sounded at 06:45, I prepared breakfast and was playing poker by 07:00. The idea was to work a minimum of eight hours a day, but there were days when I played for 10-12 hours when the leaderboards demanded it."

Playing up to 70 hours per week, Calio was able to do this by exercising and eating healthy.

"I hired a nutritionist to provide me with a food order that allows me to feel energized during grind days and to be able to withstand the long hours."

Despite the long hours in front of a computer screen, Calio has no plans to slow down, not even slightly. His parents raised him to become a person who loves what they do and to be happy in themselves. That is certainly working out for him - he's very happy right now.

"I found poker eight years ago and I am very happy with it. My plan is to continue to keep my foot on the gas and continue playing at this intensity. I want to be able to travel to participate in big events and grow our SPINS stable. If I continue with this happiness, I will not stop playing in the near future!"

Congratulations to Giuseppe "JOJEPE" Calio!

He is a pretty tough player, in addition to making 200 thousand dollars only in rake, that indicates the hours of work, study, and volume that he puts to reach the goal, belonging to the partypoker vip club is not easy, but he has cried congratulations Because he is also Latino, that indicates that the Latino people are also committed to high-level online poker.

This player ran a very large sum of dollars, to accomplish this thing for him, in a month and a half. Now he has chosen with certain benefits and can be very happy if is not at a disadvantage, after many games with big amount of money.

So it's $100.000 in rake for the Diamond club and $200.000 in rake for the Diamond Elite club , both in 12 months period , he managed the second , only in 46 days , that's less than 60 days or two months , that's incredible , for players like him sky is the limit , PartyPoker probably has to set new club status for players like him , it won't have many members , they will becounted in the fingers of our hands , but they would deserve this reward and the extra gifts .

when you play on high level and with big amounts, then its much different to spend 8,10 or 12 hours on playing poker, especially when you win money!so when only job in life is to play poker, not to go on work every day,its looks like regular job for him!I can play casino games for hours,so I understand this player when he play poker for so long!

To be in the party poker vip program and win big money from rake, it is not easy and this pro boy has achieved it, many times it is a bit difficult to try to play high level hands, but in this game the one who does not bid does not he wins, and I think that has led him to play large volumes of hands, win the jackpot, congratulations on that.

I couldn't get a VIP in big poker rooms. There are players who simply have a huge talent and beat you very easily. I would need a professional teacher to teach me for 2 years and after that i could play successfully and try such a high level. It's not easy at all.
