partypoker and the World Poker Tour (WPT) are launching the biggest ever online series this summer with the $100m GTD WPT World Online Championships from 17th July to 8th September!
$100M GTD WPT World Online Championships
- Schedule: July 17 to September 8, 2020
- Events: 12 Championship events (including 5 Champions Club status events)
- Prize pool: $100 million guaranteed
The inaugural WPT Online Series was a smashing success thanks to everyone's support. Nearly $53 million was paid out during the festival, but this time the WPT World Online Championship will pay out at least $100 million!
There are a total of 12 Championship events in store for you. Each of the Championship events has three buy-in levels, opening the door to everyone to become a WPT champion. These events come with buy-ins of $33, $320, and $320, except the Main Event (more on that later).
In this poker fest, expect:
- Single re-entry on all NLH Championship Events
- Limited late registration
- Maximum of 2 starting flights for all Championship Events
Real names will also be displayed, so you can really get to know your opponents!
Kicking off the Championship events' schedule is a Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo event. The trio of PLO8 tournaments run over three days and have combined guarantees weighing in at $680,000.
No need to wait long to play in the first event with a seven-figure guaranteed prize pool as the #02 World Championship Pot-Limit Omaha kicks off on July 25 and runs for three days. The $3,200 edition has a cool $1 million guaranteed.
Things get even better come August 1 because that's the day when the first trio of No-Limit Hold'em events shuffle up and deal. The $33 edition has $300,000 guaranteed, the $320 guarantees $1 million, while the $3,200 buy-in boasts of a $3 million guaranteed prize pool!
$16M GTD in the WPT World Championship Main Events
As usual in poker festivals, there will be some huge main events and this one has THREE!
Both the $109 Micro and $1,050 Mini are four-day events with Day 1A starting on August 22. There's $1 million guaranteed in the $109 Micro Main Event and $5 million up for grabs in the $1,050 Mini Main Event!
The $10,300 Main Event begins the following week on August 29 and we can't wait for this one. At least $10 million, that's an eight-figure guarantee, will be won from that one tournament alone!
Winning the $10,300 Main Event not only immortalizes you in poker's history books, but it also sees you become a member of the exclusive Champions Club and grants you a $15,000 seat in the WPT Tournament of Champions presented by Baccarat Crystal with your travel and accommodation all paid for by the WPT!
Four other events do the same, they are the $3,200 buy-in 6-Max, 8-Max, Mix-Max, and Knockout.
Massive Super High Rollers
A pair of Super High Roller tournaments is sure to bring the very best poker tournament players to partypoker. A three-day $25,500 Super High Roller takes place from September 5 and sees another $10 million guaranteed. The following day sees the first day of the $102,000 buy-in Super High Roller, an event with no less than $5 million up for grabs.
WPT World Championship Satellites and Side Events
Satellites for the $10,300 Main Event are running right now under the guise of PP LIVE Passport. These phased satellites have buy-ins of $4.40, $22, $109, and $1,050 with the latter guaranteeing 10x $10K WPT World Online Championship packages. Use this passport for the Main Event and we'll wave the $300 tournament fee, making this a rake-free event!
