Sam Trickett said, "I'm delighted the WPT and partypoker have come together to help make a difference in these difficult times, while also offering players the opportunity to win plenty in cash prizes. Aylar Lie said, "I am honoured to be a part of Shooting Star for Charity. Players get to have fun playing poker and we can help in the fight against COVID-19, so it's win-win."

The schedule will also include the Poker Industry Invitational on Friday, July 17, offering a guarantee of $30,000 and a chance for the top three finishers to win a seat in Shooting Stars for Charity. These seats will be worth $3,000, so there is a minimum extra 10% value for players to play with that added money.
