What a dizzying amount of money is in these tournaments and i'm curious how much all games will cover the guaranteed amount of 100 million dollars. Party Poker is king right now because almost all good players from world will play there.

This is a good format to promote the game, and in this case, making a contribution to a noble cause. If some poker´s room would do periodic tournaments with poker stars and the buy-in would be reasonable, probably I play there (spending a few of my loved bankroll). I remember that in the past, Tilt Poker make something like this and was a successful format with many players. They should do it with regular frequency, I like it!

The marketing strategy can make certain tournaments to be organized very well and things to run normally. Charity is something that should not be missing but this should be in all important games. Several thousand players pay $ 3-5 to be donated.

This "Argentinian rapper Alejandro ‘Papo MC' Lococo, who moonlights as a poker player" is an absolute unknown in my country. What a strange way of publicity to start a music career. Normally I don´t associate the underground music with the playing of poker. All can be happen one day or another. But the poker´s room should look for really starts of any matter, and don´t be a platform to start an unknown career. The true Pappo was a king of blues here, he played with all the best, like BBKing

I believe that people should be more involved in charity, because huge sums can be raised to help sick or poor people. Economies of the world must not be destroyed by this Covid 19. If this things happens, then there will be many riots.

Yes, those things happen, and is used that the charity events are being a good platform of a publicity campaign. But is so strange that a man who tries to be known as a rape music start his public career in a poker´s tournament. To what market segment are you targeting? How many poker´s lovers thinks he that would buy his music? Is really bizarre, don´t you think?

To organize a charity event need several steps. First time you choose cause for the money required and after that follow several methods to attract people for support in your initiative. In the end, have to justify where money went, so that u are responsible and others people do not suspect of stealing the funds... that managed to collect from donors.

This charity event is awesome , very nice from WPT and Partypoker to have this charity tournament on their schedule , many big names participated with bounties on their heads . Some other charity tournaments did actually take place the last months in many poker rooms , this shows the poker players have sensitivities and want to help people to get over this crisis and its consequenses .
 CALICUL07/08/2020 09:06:06 GMT
One of my regrets is that: i am sorry because one of the best poker rooms in world does not operate in my country. I assume they have money to pay for a license without any problems, but do not understand why they refuse this thing.
 antonis32107/08/2020 23:54:06 GMT
I would prefer if they gave these donations from this event to people who suffer because of this virus crisis , without jobs or food on their plates , like ACR did for people to fight hunger during corona virus times .. Governements in all over the world give billions of $$$ , not just some thousands of $$$$ , to find a vaccine and they will find it sooner or a little later , so they do not need fund or donations on this purpose , but the people who suffered from this crisis will they get their jobs back , will they be able to cover their basic needs , will they be prosperous again ???

 CALICUL08/08/2020 09:17:47 GMT
It's always good when you can earn some extra money, but the buy-ins here are too big for us. We have to play a lot of satellites and qualify for major tournaments, but how much does it cost for enter? is difficult to get something like that. However, it is not impossible. Skills & luck is needed.
 antonis32112/08/2020 05:39:30 GMT
Very nice initiative by WPT and Partypoker , that's what poker players and people around the world like hearing , especially these days of this virus : Charity events to help people or anything else (but helping directly people ill or need is better imo Smile ) . Pokerstars was the only room , which could have organised a better charity event , with huge donations for the infected or harmed people , many millions of $$$ , but they didn't , man , they are so greedy.

 CALICUL12/08/2020 05:49:14 GMT
Online poker rooms can sometimes donate a sum of money if organize such games, but they prefers to offer freerolls tournaments, because it is more favorable to them in that way. Party did the right thing, but at P-Stars there are many owners with hunger in their throats.
