A special feature of the festival is that it will be made up entirely of progressive knockout events - something which has never been seen before in a MILLIONS festival. What this means is that all players in all tournaments will be carrying a bounty on their heads, making it possible to win lots of money even if you do not reach the main prize pool payout positions. Eliminate an opponent and you instantly receive half their bounty amount with the other 50% added to your own bounty, which in turn makes you a more attractive target for your opponents!
There are 71 exciting PKO events in total, with buy-ins ranging from $109 to $1,050. Action starts with the Opener, a 2-day tournament featuring a $200,000 guarantee for only a $162 buy-in.
The Main Event is on Sunday, May 8, where a fantastic $1 million prize pool is guaranteed for a buy-in of $1,050. No worries if you don't have that kind of money, as every partypoker player has the chance to win their way in to the Main Event thanks to satellites with buy-ins as low as $0.01.
The Main Event is a 3-day tourney, and players have several chances to enter thanks to six starting flights running before Day 2 on May 30. Starting flights run every Sunday during the festival. Main Event players sit down with 1 million chips and play on a 20-minute clock where blonds start at 5,000/10,000/1,000a. A single re-entry is allowed while late registration is open (12 levels), and play ends when only 15% of the field remains. Those top 15% progress to Day 2 where they are guaranteed at least a min-cash.
Also running alongside the Main Event will be the Mini Main Event, where players can join in for only $109 to play for their share of a guaranteed $500,000.
Other events to watch out for will be the two-day Weekender tournaments, which run on three consecutive weekends during the series, with buy-ins from $162 to $320 and guarantees from $200,000 to $250,000.
partypoker's last MILLIONS Online series was back in December 2021, when Ramiro Petrone triumphed in the Main Event to win $859,018.66!
