The much-awaited $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em MAIN EVENT (Event #73) kicked off on Wednesday, July 3, with more than 1,300 entrants participating on flight Day 1a.

Venue: Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas
Buy-in: $10,000

As per tradition, the reigning Main Event champ, John Cynn, made his appearance on the first day, with Jack Effel making his opening announcement to start off the Main Event.

Alex Foxen has been known to be a successful poker pro both in the online and live circuit since 2012 - his first recorded achievement in the Hendon mob showing a 1st place finish in the WSOP Circuit $355 NLHE in New Orleans for $22,421.
