The prop bet meant that if Ted Forrest could lose 50 pounds (22,68 kg) before June 15, he would get $2 million dollars. Ted Forrest, who weighed 85 kilo at that point, accepted the prop bet almost straight away. The challenge was on and Ted went on a strict diet!

When Ted stepped on the scale 2 months later, he was just skin and bones and weighed around 60 kilo. He had lost about 23 kilos and accomplished the impossible - to lose 26% of his body weight or about half a kilo almost every day for 2 months.
