2014 WSOP: Event #65 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event Day 1B

wsopWSOP Main Event Day 1B kicked off on Sunday and gathered a field of 2,144 players. Once concluded, some 1,300 players are set to go on to Day 2B. The chip leader is a pretty unknown player called Trey Luxemburger who managed to finish the day with 193,450 chips, closely follwed by Sarkis Hakobian on 190,125 and Ryan Buckholtz on 189,000.

Day 1B saw some familiar faces that managed to survive to Day 2B. Among these are Martin Staszko, Antoine Saout, Kevin Schaffel and Dennis Phillips. Some of the unfortunate poker profiles that were busted out on Day 1 were Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier,Paul Volpe, Chris Moorman, and “Doc” Sands.

Main Event Day 1C is expected to be have the highest number of participants of all Day 1's. In order to beat last years number of players, another 3,438 participants need to enroll.

2012 WSOP: Allyn Jaffrey Schulman Breaks The Curse!

Last night the extended Day 4 of Event #29: Seniors No-Limit Hold'em Championship continued. Only 4 players had chips left and Dennis Phillips, best known for his 3rd place finish in the 2008 WSOP Main event, had a decent chip lead over the other players.

After some hours of battle, Dennis Phillips and Allyn Jaffrey Schulman, wife of 2009 WSOP Europe Main Event winner Barry Shulman and step-mother of 2009 WSOP Main Event final tablist Jeff Shulman, were the last 2 players of the tournament. Phillips had five-to-one chip lead at some point of the heads-up and no one thought Schulman would come back.

Ylon Schwartz, finished 4th in the 2008 WSOP Main Event for $3,7 million, won his first gold bracelet last Saturday when he took down Event #27: H.O.R.S.E. Now, 3 days later, another 2008 WSOP Main Event finalist has the chance of winning his first gold bracelet.

After 117 days of long waiting, the WSOP (Maint Event) final table was finally about to take place. Millions of people around the world were about to see 9 players (who already were guranteed $900,670 each) fight for the 1st place and the titile "WORLD CHAMPION".

WSOP Main Event finalists selling advertisements on eBay

Ylon Schwartz (5 in chip count) and Dennis Phillips (chip leader) are two players that will play the WSOP Main Event final table on the 9th November, fighting for a prize pool of approximately 23.7 Million Dollars.

Now these 2 players have started an auction each on eBay where it's possible to bid on a ten-square-inch logo on their shirts.
