Last year, the state of Pennsylvania became the fourth state in America to have online casinos legalized (the other three are Nevada, Delaware and New Jersey), something that the billionaire casino magnate Sheldon Adelson has opposed for years. This week, Adelson's company had announced that they are selling their only casino in the Keystone State.

Forbes magazine has recently released to the public their newest rankings of the 400 wealthiest people in America, and two of them on the list are well-known in the world of poker.

Sheldon Adelson and Andrew Beal have made it on the 2017 Forbes List of The World's Billionaires.

Protests against The Sands' $21 billion "Eurovegas" casino complex

Last week, around 200 people gathered in downtown Madrid to protest against the construction of Sheldon Adelson's Eurovegas complex in their city. Adelson, CEO for Las Vegas Sands and the 14th wealthiest person in the world, will choose either Madrid or Barcelona as the location for the Las Vegas's sands next project - a $21 billion entertainment complex that includes 6 casinos and 12 hotels.
