The third day of the WPT Venice Grad Prix main event can be described as the battle between Andrea Dato, Simon Ravnsbeak and Marcel Bjerkmann. The trio stole the show with their loose aggressive style of playing poker. In fact, it was easy to forget that there were other players in the room as well.
Marcel Bjerkmann, the Day 2 chip leader, is the only one from the trio that won't return to play in a few hours. Simon Ravnsbaek (picture) has the lead with 795k and Andrea Dato is in 3rd place with 726k. Expect these 2 players to be the center of attention when the 4th day kicks off!
There are 9 players left and all of them are guaranteed to get away with at least $18,133 each. The winner will get amazing $302,065 and the second place pays $146,826. We will return with an update when a winner has been crowned.
