Leicester City FC

Last season:
We know quite early last season that Leicester City after 10 years of absence should finally make their return back to the Premier League. With only six losses in 46 matches and an impressive record of 102 points The Foxes finished the season nine points ahead of second placed Burnley.

2014/15--season preview:
After bringing in a couple of players with Premier League experience like Matthew Upson and Marc Albrighton Leicester decided to spend almost nine million pounds on Brighton’s Argentinian striker Leo Ulloa. A couple of squad players have gone out while the team is preparing for their return to the finest room of English football.

Player profile:
The now 23 year old French winger Anthony Knockaert was brought in from French side Giungamp in 2012 and has during his two years at King Power Stadium made a himself a name by scoring spectacular goals. The expectations are high on him when the team is going into the 2014/15 season with the hopes of avoiding relegation.

Summary:
Even if Leicester won the Championship in an easy way last year it looks very difficult for them ahead of this season. The club is lacking the financial muscled of QPR and has to rely heavily on the key players from last years team. A lot responsibility is resting on the shoulders of Kasper Schmeichel, Danny Drinkwater and David Nugent is the team shall manage to stay up this season.

Prediction:
19th place

Betting suggestion:
Lowest scoring team @10.50 under Premier League ”Specials”

I have watched a few of Leicester's pre-season games and i think that they could be a mid-table team by the end of the season and they will avoid relegation comfortably in my opinion

well it takes some doing to win championship in that style- they do have a solid squad that is gelled already and didn't do an awful lot of "rebuilding" which very often leads to a ton of cash wasted and balance of the team destroyed. they certainly play well enough to avoid relegation, that is if they play similarly to last season- gap between bottom clubs of premierleague and top of championship is not very big, so everything is in their own hands

It's hard to tell if a team like Leicester will survive in the premiership, they look like a solid team and a decent manager who obviously thinks his squad will be OK as he has not added to his team that much,a few freebies that look like good additions.
I think they could do OK and just avoid relegation as long as they don't panic early in the season and sack Pearson.
