Im gutted for him. He was about to be the first player to have 10 mil in winnings at full tilt. It always sucks when you hit a downswing just before a milestone

Had to happen. Without a major donator like Guy, the money at the highest stakes will flow between the players. Dwan may be better than most, but he will be hit by the variance too.

every one get a touch of variance and i suppose playing at the top of any game you winn come up against a similar type and skill of player. so winning one week and going down the next can be expected... no one dominates at the high stakes for long. as for the challenge i feel its all about damage limitation for PA now he can just try and get a little of the cash from him now to pay him with later.

Im not protecting Dwan, but if someone speaks sht like that hes just lucky, while hes played more hands than anyone else in high stakes with very short time, proving hes not just anoter flicker in high stakes world. Its not time that counts - its the number of hands youve played thru!!!!!!

He is actually an awsome player, his thought processes are excellent. Most people here don't play heads up and think about his moves as fishy/donkey but they're comparing them to FR/6M which is obv stupid.

i got a downswing too lost the last week all hands where i was favourite and lost 90% on the river and go broke on my favourite site not much but 300$.So i stop playing for a while.My last hand was KT flop AKT and lost against AQ with the Q on the river yeah poker is an up and down equal you are a pro or a amateur
