Can't live with ‘em. Can't live without ‘em. I detest politicians. The vast majority have never had a real job. They are born with a silver spoon in their mouth and then given opportunities others could only dream of. And if you have the ability to break into this elite group, the chances are you won't be able to. Because you went to the wrong school on the wrong side of town.

Sure, they can spout out all the right things, that they are in it to help others, to make a difference. But they won't. The system won't allow it. They have shook too many pals hands to get to where they are and they have to keep them same pals happy now they are in power. They will take what they can in allowances and look after their friends, who do the same. With the expenses scandals, which let's face it amount to theft, how many went to prison? The same amount as the bankers who stole money.

And actually why do they need two houses? So they live far away from parliament? The answer is simple. Just build a big old tower of flats in Westminster and make them rent them out. Even have it paid for by the state, it would still be cheaper than paying for all their mortgages and they can be used again and again. Why do they need a subsidised bar? Let them pay full price like the rest of us. Why do they need subsidised food? Why should they get tens of thousands of pounds wages and then cheap food? MP's expect!

And have you ever spent a few minutes watching the parliamentary channel? The loutish behaviour is shocking, I certainly wouldn't allow it in my classroom yet they carry on like this whilst running the country!
And yet I find myself having to vote for this ridiculous charade, not because I have any political beliefs but because if people don't turn out in force then the racist group that is UKIP could get into some kind of power. Not that they could achieve anything more than any any of the other party's but they could certainly do enough to ruin it even more than it is.

Maybe there needs to be a new party. A proper working man's party, with proper working people. People that have worked 10 years or more in real jobs, at tesco, at the local pub, at the local chip shop.
Maybe I should become a politician? Maybe you should?

If not you, who? If not now, when?

I cannot agree with you more. Most of these politicians have never had a real job and when they say 'we are all in this together', it's a complete joke. Come and live on the money i earn and then i might start taking you seriously

absolutely wrong- with those fcukers gone world wouldn't stop moving... on the contrary. every "service" that is offered by public sector can easily be offered by private one... and for a better price and quality... if only there are no "wise-men" who tell you that you must comply with this, that and a little bit more of this again... market itself can separate sh1tty businessmen form good ones... without the "help" of politicians...

rants over

we live in a "shitty" world because 85 people own as much money as 3.5 billion, they have their own companies for everything and that money never goes back into circulation, this is where all crisis comes from, just a bit more and we will reach that point where rants will turn into fallen heads.

+ a guy that took same class as me in school made it into politics runs a traditional country party now, he never worked anything else and i see how easy it is for him to say we will cut "there and there and take it in account" while not thinking about those people that the cut will apply to much, just numbers for him.

- is just a puppet thou

- the shittier the financial situation, the easier it is for those 85 people to buy anyone the fuck they want.

- Yes we could live without em its easy, we erase the borders, there are no enemies in this world just one big family of life.

It's a "protection money racket", plain and simple. The mafiosi (i.e. government) collect "protection money" (i.e. taxes), with a promise to protect you if some other low life tries to extort you, and punish you (kneecapping / prison), if you don't pay.

The only difference is the scale of the operation, and how much it costs (mafia is much cheaper).

Just like with charities there are lots of people, actually believing in the cause (the goodhearted individuals coming to collect for charity at your front door for example, and maybe even some politicians), while the insidious nature of the ones in charge stay largely hidden.

+1 absolutely agree. government = legal mafia, nothing more, nothing less.

that's because mafia knows not just how to take money, but also how to make money, or invest it wisely... which most of the time is not the case with politicians... they usually skip the "make money and invest it wisely" part...

actually it doesn't matter how many people hold what amounts of money... as long as they use it wisely (creating jobs, services, goods, generating value, investing it into other businesses, people etc.)

and that money never goes back into circulation

yeah that is the least desirable thing

The majority of their money doesnt ever go back into circulation the amount that is returned is same 0 on such a scale.

Now imagine that money would be spread among 3.5 billion, all those extra spenditure in shops bars everything...

Economy would be way different.

England is supposed to have been the birthplace of democracy but if you live in England now you will have realised that democracy here died a long time ago.
We have a coalition government of Conservative and Liberals,a bit like Hamas joining a coalition with UKIP,where the hell is the morals of these politicians who abandon all their values just to get in power. We now have a government that no one voted for and we have to be stuck with that for 5 years at a time.
As the great American Al Gore said "A zebra does not change its spots".

I can not agree with this statement in its totality. You can not talk about "these politicians" in general as you can not say "these doctors" or "these students" or "these Mobsters". Everyone is different and this is goog.

Fuck politicians! The worst race of modern society! Parasites! I hate them all and I hope they DIE, that's right DIE motherfuckers!

And if you don't agree with me, come to Portugal and try to take an honest working life and then maybe we can talk.

A politician, political leader, or political figure is a person who is involved in influencing public policy and decision making. This includes people who hold decision-making positions in government, and people who seek those positions, whether by means of election, inheritance, coup d'état, appointment, conquest, or other means.
