The 2015 November Nine is getting closer and closer as another day of play has come to an end. The final 27 players will be led into Day 7 by Thomas Kearney with 14,400,000 in chips. Kearney, who resides in Las Vegas, is closely followed by Mozheng Guan with 14,230,000.
Other players with over 10 million in chips are Kearney and Guan are followed by Erasmus Morfe (12,085,000), Joseph McKeehen (11,975,000), Mario Sequeira (11,865,000), David Stefanski (11,485,000), and Alexander Turyansky (10,785,000).
Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu will also be returning for Day 7. Negreanu, who currently is in 9th place with 8,495,000 in chips, is looking to win his first WSOP Main Event title and his 7th bracelet. Another poker star to keep an eye on when Day 7 kicks off is Day 6 chip leader Pierre Neuville (6,000,000).
Brian Hastings, a two-time bracelet winner this summer, won't be returning for Day 7. The U.S. high stakes pro was knocked out in 49th place for a $137,300 payday. However, he still a big favourite to take home the 2015 WSOP Player of the Year honour.
Play resumes at noon local time on Tuesday. The plan is to play down a final table of nine (November Nine). All the remaining 27 players are guaranteed $211,821 each - with the chance of becoming the last man standing (1st pays $7,680,021).
