The quarterfinals of the FIFA World Cup 2022 will be held on December 9th and 10th.
Who's going to be the winner in the 2022 World Cup?
Now that the quarterfinal field has been set, eight teams will battle it out for the World Cup trophy.
In this year's soccer tournament, there are four previous champions represented, including even the most recent one, which is vying to do something that no other men's team has achieved in 60 years. There's the newbie, Morocco, fresh off an elimination of Spain. Then there are the GOATs new and old, even if Cristiano Ronaldo's role with Portugal has been thrown out a window of uncertainty.
The Quarterfinals
December 9 (Fri)
- Croatia vs Brazil
- Netherlands vs Argentina
December 10 (Sat)

- England vs France

The quarterfinals promise to deliver some heart-pounding, invigorating contests. Of course, Brazil is arguably the start favorites against Croatia, but the rest of the three matches are also likely to be exciting as well.
Lionel Messi's Argentina looked uneasy at times in their Round of 16 2-1 victory against Australia, and they will have to bring their A-game against Netherlands if they are truly serious in aiming for the top four.
Morocco turned out to be quite a surprise in Qatar 2022. Even though Portugal have enjoyed a clinical run so far, they will have to be wary of the possible threat possessed by Walid Regragui's men in the quarters.
The match between France and England can be noted as the most exciting fixture in the quarterfinals, considering the incredible talent coming from these two squads.
France puts its hope on the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Olivier Giroud and Antoine Griezmann, whereas England defenders will have to give it their best in what is going to be their biggest obstacle in the tournament so far.
