Betsson, the premium betting company known for its ongoing support and commitment to sports, has become the official title sponsor of the A1 Padel Swedish Master tournament.
Scheduled from July 10 to 16 in Halmstad, Sweden, the prestigious event will bring together some of the top padel players in the world.
A1 Padel, formerly named APT, was initially scheduled to be held in Båstad, Sweden last year but in a last-minute decision it was relocated to Tenerife. Fortunately, this summer is finally Sweden's moment to host the much-awaited 7-day tournament on the main plaza in Halmstad.
The Betsson-sponsored Swedish Master event offers a prize pool of 1 million SEK ($93,800 / €85,500 / £74,000). Viewers and attendees alike can expect a wonderful show from the pitch as participants include top-ranked players Franco Dal Bianco, Maximiliano Arce and the illustrious star Leo "Tolito" Aguirre.
The tournament is currently spread across 18 different locations in the world including Buenos Aires, Cape Town, Miami and New York, enabling it to surpass even the World Padel Tour.
Christer Garell, CEO of A1 Padel Sweden, said:
"We are delighted to join forces with Betsson as the title sponsor for this summer's biggest padel event. Betsson is one of the operators that has demonstrated most commitment to the sport over the years.
