Cristiano Ronaldo is an all-time sensation on and off the field, and now he has instantly become a YouTube star. On Wednesday, August 21, his new channel managed to attract 10 million subscribers within hours, thus earning him even more money!
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is working on the most lucrative contract in the world of football at Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr. He also enjoys a bunch of sponsorship deals, which allowed him to reach the top of the list of Forbes' highest-paid athletes in 2024.
Ronaldo is not just a remarkable athlete on the field, but he also has an astounding loyal legion of social media fans. He is already one of the most followed personalities across social media sites. He has 112.5 million followers on the X (Twitter), 170 million on Facebook, and a whopping 636 million followers on Instagram.
Now, he is making the headlines once again after branching out onto YouTube. The "UR Cristiano" channel smashed records after getting 1 million subscribers in less than 90 minutes, and then 10 million in a couple of hours, which represents further earning potential for the soccer player.
Ronaldo launched his new YouTube page on Wednesday, saying:
"The wait is over. My @YouTube channel is finally here! SIUUUbscribe and join me on this new journey."
Ronaldo has posted 12 videos so far and they have, at the time of writing, got over 115 million views. According to Thinkific, YouTube creators can earn around $2 to $12 per 1,000 views. Advertisers pay a set rate to the platform for every 1,000 views, with YouTube keeping 45% of ad revenue while creators receive 55%.
As of writing, the Portuguese athlete has more than 30 million subscribers, and this number will just keep on increasing.
It is estimated that Cristiano Ronaldo will already be pulling in big money, with even more to come as he may be competing with the likes of YouTube sensation Mr Beast, who racks up 400+ million views on his videos and can earn up to $5 million per month on advertising revenue alone.

I think his videos are small . And very few . He could upload more videos from other platforms , videos from the past .
Btw I checked one video , one of the few that he speaks (not good) English . He was advertising the Red Sea , which is in Saudi arabia area . Of course he was paid to do sth like that . He is inviting everyone to come to the Red Sea . He was saying that everything is magnificent and beauty there , but I didn't see any such sightseeing or beautiful scenery at his video . And the beaches are below average .
I just watched a documentary about red sea (on Netflix) , no such a big deal . The seas are not so good , not many fish , no beautiful beaches etc etc . Why the fu** should we go to such a place with high temperatures and deserts . Lol . If Saudi Arabia oil princes or R7 pays this vacation , fine by me, I ll go !!! Lol

Yes Cristiano Ronaldo is an established brand and it is easy to gather an audience. I wouldn't subscribe to his YouTube channel, but he already has 59 million subscribers and about 10 million views on his videos. It doesn't matter if it is watched by children, women or grandmothers, the important thing is that the advertising money is collected.

Or idiots who have nothing productive or creative or really entertaining to do with their free time . Watch the life stories if SB with his kids or girlfriend should not be interesting for no-one. These schetches are for public eyes , the social media fake standards . Behind the scenes , away from strange curious social media eyes and ears , the real kids' training and his real relationship with his girlfriend take place . So why should we watch sth so fake ? .it's not only for Ronaldo but for all such streaming stars , promoting fake family or personal standards or stories .

I admire his football career and achievements ,and his personality or the way he treats other football players in and out of the field . The way he plays with the system , the media , to win more money
But , that aside , the truth is time flies by very fast , in two or three years he will be off the celebrity radar , that's the destiny of all stars , shrink and disappear someday 
I just don't like how some stars focus on their private life . Family , children should be out of publicity lights , not shown on screen or you tube or anywhere else , my opinion
And ofcourse sb here to write one or two posts about him , in one hour or one day , it doesn't mean anything , no big deal .
