Cristiano Ronaldo creates YouTube channel, gets over 10M Subscribers within a Day

Cristiano Ronaldo is an all-time sensation on and off the field, and now he has instantly become a YouTube star. On Wednesday, August 21, his new channel managed to attract 10 million subscribers within hours, thus earning him even more money!

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is working on the most lucrative contract in the world of football at Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr. He also enjoys a bunch of sponsorship deals, which allowed him to reach the top of the list of Forbes' highest-paid athletes in 2024.

Ronaldo is not just a remarkable athlete on the field, but he also has an astounding loyal legion of social media fans. He is already one of the most followed personalities across social media sites. He has 112.5 million followers on the X (Twitter), 170 million on Facebook, and a whopping 636 million followers on Instagram.

Now, he is making the headlines once again after branching out onto YouTube. The "UR Cristiano" channel smashed records after getting 1 million subscribers in less than 90 minutes, and then 10 million in a couple of hours, which represents further earning potential for the soccer player.

Ronaldo launched his new YouTube page on Wednesday, saying:
"The wait is over. My @YouTube channel is finally here! SIUUUbscribe and join me on this new journey."

Ronaldo has posted 12 videos so far and they have, at the time of writing, got over 115 million views. According to Thinkific, YouTube creators can earn around $2 to $12 per 1,000 views. Advertisers pay a set rate to the platform for every 1,000 views, with YouTube keeping 45% of ad revenue while creators receive 55%.

As of writing, the Portuguese athlete has more than 30 million subscribers, and this number will just keep on increasing.

It is estimated that Cristiano Ronaldo will already be pulling in big money, with even more to come as he may be competing with the likes of YouTube sensation Mr Beast, who racks up 400+ million views on his videos and can earn up to $5 million per month on advertising revenue alone.

I guess these next one or two years (or more) he can focus on media , social media ,you tube , his sponsors' deals and sponsored shows , the other businesses that he has . Cause his football career is almost over , he cannot be so competitive or athletic anymore , do now he goes for the last big/biggest contract(s) , I think Messi also did it , and almost every other big sport player .

Btw some of his YouTube videos with his family is like watching a idiotic reality show , very cheap careless meaningless content , copy paste from sone other streamers or influencers that stream their everyday family and personal life . He can do better than this , with his money he can buy better advisors , like me for ex lol
