What would you do if you happen to pick up cash that somebody lost on the streets? This man's lucky find in San Francisco, USA turned out to be his ticket to winning the $1 million jackpot in the lottery!
A man from San Francisco, Hubert Tang, luckily won the jackpot prize of $1 million in the California Lottery after he bought the winning ticket with money that he just "also luckily" found at the airport. Hubert Tang stated that he had not purchased a lottery ticket in a period of 10 years.
It was the last week of October 2015 when he luckily found a $20 bill on the streets just outside of the San Francisco International Airport. Instead of just keeping it for future use, he decided to use it to purchase 2 scratchcard tickets at a market located in Millbrae.
He certainly had twice the luck that time, because one of those tickets holds the $1 million jackpot prize!
Tang, in complete shock after he scratched the ticket outside the store and realized the result, told his friend who he was currently with at that moment, "I think I just won a million dollars."
Tang works as a bartender, and he says he plans to save the money for now.
The store who Tang had bought the winning ticket from will also receive a bonus of $5,000 from California Lottery.
To express his gratefulness, Tang promised that he will start leaving $20 bills on the streets at random places to spread his good fortune to others.
