Microgaming's Ancient Fortunes Poseidon WowPot Megaways Slot drops €3.8M Days after Launch

The newest progressive jackpot slot released by Microgaming, Ancient Fortunes: Poseidon WowPot Megaways, has paid out a jaw-dropping €3.8 million jackpot prize at Videoslots casino.

A Swedish player managed to hit the top WowPot jackpot worth €3,898,637.78 on Videoslots casino on August 23, 2021, a mere four days after Ancient Fortunes: Poseidon WowPot Megaways went live to operators on Microgaming's progressive jackpot network.

Triple Edge Studios developed the game exclusively for Microgaming, and the Greek mythology-themed online slot is the very first to integrate Big Time Gaming's trademarked Megaways mechanic paired with the WowPot progressive jackpot, which debuted in February 2021.

This latest WowPot win is the second biggest in the jackpot's history, surpassed only by a tremendous €17,529,047.11 hit on April 14, 2021, and it marks the fourth millionaire to be made by WowPot to date.

The €17.5 million jackpot hit on April 14 came from a 32Red player after they placed a €0.80 stake on the Book of Atem: WowPot slot.

So far for this year, Microgaming and its progressive jackpot network have paid out 2.6 million wins across all its jackpots, tiers and games. This translates to over €143 million in cash prizes and takes the network's all-time wins beyond the €1.45 billion mark.

All wins on Microgaming's jackpot network, no matter the amount, are paid out in a lump sum.
