That actually seems like a decent deal. Doubling up once or twice should do it. Playing mostly against donks will probably do the trick. I imagine that a new table is started pretty much all the time, so maybee a shove on the first hand could save some time.

Those SnGs are fixed limit. So no shoving possible. You have to play some poker. Smile

Argh....

Guess I will play poker then Blink

------------
So I tried the give-aways...

1. Fixed limit is not poker! If everyone limps and I keep raising the last person will have 50 to 1 on his money making it stupid to fold even 72o. But don't worry if you miss the flop. You will end up having 100 to 1 on your money making it a good idea to go for backdoor-trips...

2. The graphics at Everest is not even remotely playable. The colors are a total mess aswell as the deck.

Conclusion: They should stop the giveaways and use the money on someone who can fix the mess...

Wow, I almost sound like my naggy girlfriend now... Tongue

Confused
You can change a lot with the settings. They even have a 4 colour deck.

Ah, settings is indeed a good idea. Will see what I can do. I want it as simple as possible.

But no more giveaways for me. I only play poker... Blink

Tomorrow it's depo-time. Gonna look around a bit for some crazy match-bonuses.

------------
I have some great news!

As I were to deposit today, I contacted PS support. Turns out I am not eligable for any bonuses so they credited my account with 80$ as I havent claimed any bonus yet. Meanwhile I recieved a 10$ at Doyles with 90 pending. Havent checked out CP yet.

Bankrolls:
PS: 40$ + 80$
Doyles: 10$ + 90$
Total: 50$ + 170$
Still to go: 49 780$

Will be playing two 1h sessions today. First 9-tabling micros at PS and then 4-tabling at Doyles. Will try a tight SSS.

I'm trying to do the same that Evilgenius.
But my principal objective is to win a entry to a big tournament (as PCA at PS or Aussie Millions at Bwin).

Some really really hard goal man... but its with crazy idea that youll accomplish crazy things ^^

im also asking myself : are you a student? have you maybe a work to get some bonus money to reload your bankroll or what else? because your goal looks like a professional goal (i know you are not a pro, but pros try to win these kind of amounts and to do this... well they play all the day : its their job !!! so do you have the time to play this like a job? )

good luck, would be nice from u to do this !! Worship

Indeed.

I work full time + overtime. Usually 6 days a week but 7 if I can. I need to cover my poker-losses somehow Blink

I put up a goal this high so I would have something to try to achieve for a very long time, and as such an amount would be life-changing. Maybee if I reach to that level through grinding I will be able to play poker part-time. I must say I start to get tired on my regular job Blink

Never stop dreaming Blink

Good luck; I read your post only now so I enocurage you to keep on playing until you will have fun. I'm not your father but I allow myself to give you a suggest: don't ever consider this marvelous game as a job ( until you will be a pro, I mean Tongue ) Blink

You are right. I probably wont. But thats not a good reason for not trying. You should always try to reach for high goals in life. And if you dont make it, then learn to appreciate the experience and knowledge you achieved while trying.

Regarding progress, I just got my initial bankroll yesterday as freerolling is way to much work.

--

And speaking about yesterday... Lost 15$ nine-tabling .05/.10. Would like to blame this on bad luck. Had some nice hands and managed to be on the plusside for a while. Gained some VPP towards the bonus though.

Tonight I'll run a 2h session at doyles playing .01/.02. My goal will be to retrieve the 15$ I lost yesterday at PS.

I will end your lovely phrase for you Smile

.......and try again and again and again until you hit your goal. Someone did it before you so ofcourse you can, nothing is impossible for the man who carries the will.

I love your mindset and I believe you will hit your goal, it will be a looong road so I wish you good luck on it Thumbs Up

If I may give advice without knowing anything about your game. Learn to beat the game before multi tabling, if you are a losing playing multi tabling will only make you lose your money quicker and slow down your learning progress.
Spend some dollars on a site with instructional videos, see it as an investment in your self. The money will be earned back with your new knowledge.

So, here comes a update. Not much has happened, but a little Smile

Doyles: 20$
PokerStars: 15$
Bwin: 50$

I have been working on my game on the micro-stakes since my last post and found alot of leaks that I am trying to plug right now. I feel that during the last week I have become a much better player.

And 85$+ means I can start full-stacking the .01/.02 with more than 20 buy-ins. So I am making progress, just slowly Blink

Got to rush now, but I'll update later again!

Doyles is on the Cake network and I play on Cake. Do you play ring games? If so I could probably give you some input on the cash tables if you need some.

Yep @ last part. I see alot of players multitabling sng's but they play like crap, you can't just shove with AJ or 66 everytime, and when the field gets thinner their play is just awful, but nice for me, I also multitable (9 tables) but I didn't for like 3 years and I also play all of them correctly, not just fold or bigbigraise/allin. You have to be fast and review the whole situation with just one look at the table, I can do this now. And yes, you don't have to be a very good player to make money with multitabling so it's very attractive to wanna do but it does not make sense if you don't understand the game as a game and not just as knowing the value of various hands, you will only lose your money at a faster rate. Normally I would not say these things, as I don't mind players who throw away their money, but since this is a community..
