if your cards were suited the first call could be ok if you saw making him some moves before ( easy fold if offsuit) - but it was early the game.. after sb shoves i would instant fold this... you have max 3 outs if he doesnt have AK,AA you got the luck and the chips but next time you probably go broke on this

I chose the option to fold,

and I think is the right choice in this situation,

that notwithstanding the blinds, and of the position,

is the most appropriate.

AT is not a good hand to call an all in with. You are easily dominated, have a flip at best and are dominating nothing against a decent players range.

Defo fold! U'll lose 9 times out of 10 all in preflop with AT.

at that stage (early) in the SnG I'd only be calling the blinds on A10 (os?) because of your late position, early pos I'd fold pre-flop no worry not even blinds call. Calling an allin at that stage was just dumb, you got lucky. But what would you possibly think you were ahead of ?? Your best hope was a race/flip

Naa easy fold you dont go all in with A10 defo at the early stages of a game / tourny. you know A 10 is not strong at all so you got the result but got it wrong , dont worrie thats haw we all learn.
Play the right hand the wrong way and the wrong hands the right way and you'll win more and more.
Dont give up as you made a little boo boo but got away with it...lol

NO NO NO NO NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When are people going to wake up and realise that suited cards give you a 2.8% better chance of winning the hand...

Whether they are suited or unsuited it makes absolutely no difference..

Anyone who makes a call based on the fact their cards are suited, but would fold if they werent is a complete and utter moron.

holding A 10 against all in should be a fold but all depends on your opponent and how far you are in the sit & go ... if the blinds are big than you have to call anyway

Since SB reraised all in, I think he has JJ+ or AK.
I have A10

no need to risk your stack, and true sb reraise should be autofold
with at, even when you sometimes tend to think.
"aargh, its a 5$ sngs, maybe hes fish"
Bad players dont get bad cards Blink

Would always prefer to play suited cards but it makes more of a difference with certain hands. You're right that percentage wise you're preflop odds are only slightly increased but the potential to win more chips is significantly higher. You're basically more likely to hit a monster where your opponent has two pair and you have a flush. With low suited connectors they are much better suited as hitting a pair is never good enough to bet. While AKs has very little benefit over AKo A10 is more important to be suited cos the ace is unlikely to get you paid but you're more likely to have the nut flush hopefully when the villian has the King

edit: just to stress you still shouldn't call an all in with A10 mid-big stack suited or otherwise. It only makes a difference to play suited cards going to the flop and you can't justify a bad call all in saying they were suited.

i think that was a very bad move to call that allin . you are in a good condition with low blinds and u r risking ur game on a,10. easy fold for me, u got lucky but be careful next time

read the post I was referring to.

He said if A 10 is suited then calling is OK

If they were unsuited then fold.

How on gods earth do you make A 10 to be suited connectors

Actually no pro would ever tell you to make a call with A 10, early in a game just because the cards are suited.

Any pro that tells you to do it IS A MORON...

This is what I am referring to.

To say that a call is OK if the cards are suited, is sheer muppetry.

Yes,easy fold, but it can be smart to call if it are suited! But when you dont have so many chips you need to fold! If you were the chipleader or had very many chips compared to other players at the table i would call for sure! Just to see the flop! Maybe i could catch a high flush! Blink

Hi!!

A clear easyfold!!!! The level of blinds, hole cards.. all scream 'foooooold!!!!'. If was ATs, the same. In low blinds you can´t play that hand, protect your chips!!!

Bye and aces for all!!
