rigged

Hehe
Does conspiracy theorys are funny. Off course The sites arent rigged. Pokerstars is earning so much money in Rake that they dont want people to move to other Pokerrooms. If you play smaller limits of poker you will probably be playing against beginners They call with anything. Its always better to make bigger deposits and play real poker

i dont wanna believe that 1 site is more rigged than a other one, but when i play some of them i get the feeling that there is indeed a difference.

i don't gonna name the site's because you have pro and contra, and it is just my feeling.

maybe you should try other site's and find one, where you have a good feeling playing, because it should be nice to play and not the other way arround.

sorry for my bad englisch Aww crap!

Shes here again :}
Altho i dont belive its true, or atleast hope as they are the leaders in fair play, but this seams to pop up a lot on lots of sites, just nubers of ppl/hands? probbably, but from my experience something doesnt seam quite right, maby i was tiltin etc but cant check history to find out, honest opnion is that it has a high donk factor at lots of limits id put it down to bad players.

Can anybody give just one good reason as to why a pokersite (pokerstars in this case) would benefit from being rigged (more bad beats to the players) ?

I honestly dont think they would be rigged especially pokerstars as they wouldnt benefit from itThe player would as someone has to win it.Just my opinion

That's actually a very very interesting question. A while ago, there was a long discussion on a danish poker-forum.

Why would it be +EV for a pokersite, to have too much badbeats?

I can tell you why it can be +EV

If there is more bad beats than expected, it will often be the bad player that wins the pot. And that is just a fact.

So why should the pokersites wanna have bad players? - Isn't it good to have lots of sharks. - No, the pokersites earn more money, when there's lots of fishes (and there is many fishes on pokerstars)

Rigged = Bad Beats = More bad players = More money = +EV for PokerStars.

EXACTLY Thumbs Up What's the point? they earn a huge load of money just keeping on their servers Dollar I don't think there's any reason in the world to risk loosing such a profitable situation being rigged

Kind of what BluffOnly said. It's kind of like in Rounders, where you let the bad players win to keep them around.

Do I think Pokerstars is rigged? I'm so sure.

they are rigged, because if the pot is big (e.g. u flop a nut-str8 and lose against runer runer full house) they get more rake! so i think their algorithmus is created to make two or three people betting much! tables with big blinds dont have to get such hands, because their pots are so big without manipulating that they play real poker!
I agree Pokerstars is like "Riverest" <-----EVEREST!!! u flop a monster and lose on river against a Bluff on flop or runer runer b******t!!!! thats unreal!!!!
sorry for my bad english! Cool
