Juanda Wins WSOPE Main Event

The 2008 WSOPE Champion is the Team Full Tilt Poker player John Juanda. It took 22 hours before he managed to eliminate the last player from the final table and take home the bracelet and £868 000.

After 15 hours of play on the final table only John Juanda and Stanislav Alekhin remained. It took them another 7 hours of play in order to finally get a winner. It was John Juanda who managed to take down the win in the final hand. Thanks to this Juanda won his first WSOP Europe bracelet and of course he also got the £868 800 first prize.

Must feel awesome to win that event. Specially with that 1st. price Smile Alltough, winning the main event without the cash price is great in itself. This tournament is probably the weatest dream i got! Partisipating in this one is one of my goals.. Getting deep in it is the second one.

Sick thing was the length of the final table. When i went to bed they were still 5 handed, after ~ 8 hours of play. When i get up, they were still playing heads up. Shock

john juanda is incredible last week he wins wsop europe and yesterday hes was on heads up in london but the opponent got lucky and won.but i really am happy for john juanda

J.Juanda is a very good player i watched him on the tv a couple of times. He looks so very calm and proffesional. I'm happy for him.
