Phil Ivey - One of the most successful players online

Phil Ivey is the owner of 5 WSOP bracelets, one WPT Trophy and one victory in the Monte Carlo Millions. Apart from this he finished 10th in the 2003 WSOP and he has won a total of $9 Million in land based tournaments. The latest tournament that he won was the WPT Tournament LA Poker Classic. He is as dominant at the poker tables when it comes to online poker tournaments as he is in the land based ones. He is one of the poker professionals that are playing exclusively at Full Tilt Poker and he can often be seen at one of the many high stakes tables on the site. At these tables he is often playing against players such as Patrik Antonius and David Benyamine . Even in this stiff competition he manages to walk away as the winning player most of the times and just this last week he has won $1 Million at the cash game tables at Full tilt Poker.

As a total for the year he has won over $5 Million which makes him one of the most successful online poker players.

Phil Ivey is really one of the best player, maybe even the best . He has a nice pokerface (I love it when his eyes are rolling all over the table =) ). But my Idol is Daniel Negreanu ,because he has a great character and i like the way he acts. He is so natural.

yeah, he might be the best player in the world at the moment but he certainly isn't fun to watch! I'd much prefer see daniel negreanu or phil laak play live than phil ivey ! Smile

i wish i was THAT good at playing poker! he is just great. If Phil Ivey was to die, and one person could "digg his brain" i call dibs for the poker section!

Hmm. Durrrr is up around 3.6 millions this year. Ivey is up around 6.5 millions.

I totally agree, but still he seems to have problems winning some live tourneys, but i haven't followed him so dunno if im quite right ;(

Actually it is quite the opposite. People think he is playing crazy as at the start of his career. But he is playing quite solide nowadays.
