111 players made it to Day 3 in the Main Event of EPT London. Among them were some of the hottest names in poker at the moment. For example: Annette Obrestad, Peter Eastgate, Kevin Schaffel, and many more.
The tournament organizers had planned to play down to 24 players in Day 3 of the tournament, but for a long time it seemed like it wouldn't be that way. It was just thanks to some very late eliminations that everything went as planned. Among the 24 survivors we find some of the youngest and most successful players there are at the moment.
Peter Eastgate had to fight really hard to make it to Day 3 of the tournament. But in Day 3 he proved that he's still the world champion and that he won't give up the fight for the first prize of £850,000.
Annette Obrestad is a WSOPE champ that is doing very well in the tournament. She has about 730k chips and still a great chance to make it to the final table.
Kevin Schaffel, the 2009 WSOP "November Nine" finalist, had a really tough Day 3. He was in the top as the day started, but then couldn't get anything going and lost the most of his chips. Now he only has 377,000 chips left and needs to double up very fast before his stack will be eaten up by the blinds+ante.
