2010 EPT Deauville Main Event attracted a record field of 768 players, which included some really big names. However, most of them were sent packing during day 2 and 3 of the tournament. Beltrand "Elky" Grospellier went out in 9th place (on the bubble) after that he had missed a flush draw against pocket aces. These are the 8 players that will fight for the first prize of €847,00 today.

Seat 1: Claudius Secara - 795,000
Seat 2: Jake Cody - 4,650,000
Seat 3: Michael Fratty - 1,595,000
Seat 4: Teodor Caraba - 6,915,000
Seat 5: Peter Eastgate - 695,000
Seat 6: Craig Bergeron - 3,135,000
Seat 7: Stephane Albertini - 3,555,000
Seat 8: Mike McDonald - 1,815,000

I only know Mike McDonald and Peter Eastgate but it looks it's gonna be a very good final table.

wow, peter eastgate is showing that he is a good player not a one time lucky winner. Too bad he is a shortstack at the final table.

Peter Eastgate has good chances to take home this event...or no?? His stack is not so huge and he will go all in trying a double up and this is not a good situation in a final table

Peter Eastgate hope he win but he easy was knocked out so for me he is again only lucker winner because a lot off big hands he won on the river and its just called luckyyyyyyyyy
however good final hand was KK vs AK and both pushing all in and hard one good job made new EPT title owner just hope we hear more his win in not long future

good luck all and be happy Tongue

Eastgate is obviously a good player, but he's gonna need a good run of cards to pull this one out. Probably get knocked out in 5th.

i dont understand something when they says that elky is the bubble guy it mean that hes not at the final table or he didnot make into the money? sound strange 768 players with only 8 players in money??

don't know anyone other than Peter Eaastgate and Mike at the final table, but it was expected with so many people participating in the tournament.
