Phil Laak's world record already beaten?

Tags: max krucki, phil laak, world record.

group of poker players in Austria, lead by actor and director Max Krucki, are at the moment trying to break Phil Laak's world record in staying awake as long as possible playing poker. And according to a rumor, someone in the group managed to crush the old record this morning. Anyhow, the group of Austrian poker players are trying to stay awake and play poker for 150 hours straight. Phil managed to stay awake for 115 hours, almost 5 days. In other words, if they manage to stay awake for 150 hours, they have beaten the old record with 35 hours and been awake for more than 6 days.

For me, it sounds like pure madness to stay awake and play poker for such a long time - just in order to break some record. Maybe it's just me? Smile What is your opinion on this?

For shure its madnes, stay awake 6 days only to beat the record and Im shure it will not be a good poker after 24h and they will more and more will loose money becouse they will be very tied.

the guys are simply having sex with their brains.
i wonder what a kind of poker it is. the inner voice tells me that it reminds something like a "post and fold" option active =)

Bah, no fun! I prefered it when it was Laak, the recordman because he's a really funny character. These people are just nerds, i guess they dont even know much about poker. Nevermind, thats life...

I'd like to know more about laaks effort. How much profit did he make, if any, from this ridiculous stunt? As I said before, this just seems like an idiotic way to lose money as you can't possibly play your best game with that much sleep deprivation. Surely there should be some conditions to this record. I mean we don't even know if these guys are playing for any actual money.

They are simply crazy. I'm wondering - if they play 150h, would Phil Laak try to beat record one more time? Smile

Hello everybody!
In my opinion it should be medically dangerous, but very good is their problem lol. But I think this record if he plays together. Phil Laak was playing against players who did not record which is harder in my opinion.
See you soon for new posts lol!
