This guys deserve this title, they are such good players, and, besides that, they have a very important roll in the poker world, helping to pass the message that poker is an honourable game that souldnt be discarded or mistreated by those who think its just another way of gambling.

I think they both players nominated here deserve this reward, they are both very experienced poker players...

I've seen both Barry and Linda on mnay tv poker productions and always enjoyed to see them playing.

And i agree this titlt should be given just to experienced poker pros.

Barry Greenstein is my favourite poker pro. His book "Ace on the River" is an entertaining read. As long as you don't expect high grade strategy, it is a fascinating read on his climb from youth to a top poker pro. Barry gets my respect for:

- charity, he is after all the Robin Hood of poker
- being a gentleman
- being able to win at different kinds of poker games, as well as cash and tourney
- being a winning player through the years, adapting his game as things move along in order to stay on top
